Fishman
Not exactly down with da kids .... "Kiss FM founder and curator of Mi-Soul Radio, Gordon Mac has put together an enticing lineup including Jumping Jack Frost, Paul Trouble Anderson, Ronnie Herel, Terry Jones, Brandon Block and Bob Masters, with MCs Shaq D and Craig Williams presiding." Gonna be a bit gutted if its Suede Apologies...when I said I hoped the line-up was rubbish, I didn't mean quite this bad. The music on that Sunday will be like being stuck in a very, very big lift. evilduck
Wow. They are really going for some cheap acts. They obviously have worked out that 90% of their crowd is local families who don't actually care what music is playing.
xxialac
I hope this year fails big time. The epic day I went to a few years ago had Grace Jones, Young Fathers, Badbadnotgood and Massive Attack. Don't expect anything as good as that but c'mon don't give us Lightning Seeds in a big font FFS.
cdm22
If it wasn't dead before then this will kill it surely? The smaller tent normally has something going for it when the main stage is lacking but even that is lacking this year.
adamski
That poster confused me a bit, having the "Talking Heads" bit of "London Afrobeat Orchestra performs Talking Heads" on a new line. Over the two days they have the acts to put together a mediocre one day festival. Hoping for a few additions that improve the Saturday (last year idles, kate tempest and the districts were added late on, but I doubt we'll get anything near that). Fishman
The more I look at the line-up, the more woeful it gets. It'll only sell to people who don't like music. Will there be enough of the Yummy-Mummies and 50-something picnic blanket brigade to make it pay? It's a shame because the food and beer has always been good. Squeeze as Saturday night headliner is fucking scandalous.

Flaminglippy
I doubt the Lightning Seeds are as high as 4th on the bill at their own staff Xmas party. Imagine there will be a lot of '2-4-1' deals for this closer to the time

Perhaps there will be then and we all know nothing. Very keenly priced first up at £44 for the day and £75 for the weekend. This then ramps up with that silly tiered pricing thing. Paloma can fill the O2 at £50 a pop, so who knows. Blimey this will be grim in the rain!
