Not exactly down with da kids ....

"Kiss FM founder and curator of Mi-Soul Radio, Gordon Mac has put together an enticing lineup including Jumping Jack Frost, Paul Trouble Anderson, Ronnie Herel, Terry Jones, Brandon Block and Bob Masters, with MCs Shaq D and Craig Williams presiding."

I kinda hope the line up for this is rubbish as just booked for the indie All Dayer thing in Brum on the Saturday.

Gonna be a bit gutted if its Suede

Apologies...when I said I hoped the line-up was rubbish, I didn't mean quite this bad.

The music on that Sunday will be like being stuck in a very, very big lift.

That poster confused me a bit, having the "Talking Heads" bit of "London Afrobeat Orchestra performs Talking Heads" on a new line.

Over the two days they have the acts to put together a mediocre one day festival.

Hoping for a few additions that improve the Saturday (last year idles, kate tempest and the districts were added late on, but I doubt we'll get anything near that).

The more I look at the line-up, the more woeful it gets. It'll only sell to people who don't like music. Will there be enough of the Yummy-Mummies and 50-something picnic blanket brigade to make it pay? It's a shame because the food and beer has always been good.

it looks like what happens when you leave it to the last minute to organise a festival and discover that everyone good has been booked or is too expensive.

Squeeze as Saturday night headliner is fucking scandalous.

I doubt the Lightning Seeds are as high as 4th on the bill at their own staff Xmas party.

Imagine there will be a lot of '2-4-1' deals for this closer to the time

On Blackheath clearly have a lot of faith in England's chances of a World Cup win propelling 'Three Lions' back to the top of the charts.

There are actually some people on Facebook and Twitter who think it's a good line up. I despair sometimes.

Most of the people on Facebook who comment on festivals, or anything for that matter,  are morons.

Perhaps there will be then and we all know nothing. Very keenly priced first up at £44 for the day and £75 for the weekend. This then ramps up with that silly tiered pricing thing. Paloma can fill the O2 at £50 a pop, so who knows.

Blimey this will be grim in the rain!

That's exactly what my missus said! I'm not paying 44 quid to watch squeeze in the rain. I might pay 20 quid for the Saturday line up if it was sunny.
