Very strange for nothing to be announced today especially after Scott mills said it was announced today  must be some sort of issue which is a bit odd as there has never been a issue before

They usually announce a handful of acts but save the headliners for the line-up launch in April-ish

Would also surely be way too close to Hull.

Just as a complete guess it could be somewhere near Stoke/Stafford. They've not really got anything now V has gone.

Think the BBC 6 fest will be in Cardiff this year.

I thought the same, hasn’t been remotely in this area since it started so would make sense. But then the area is often ignored so feels more of a dream than potential reality

2 and a half hour drive to Newcastle from Hull so theoretically I’d say it’s far enough as it’d be majority people from T&W, Northumbria, Cumbria and County Durham etc interested in going. But as I said 100% won’t be in Newcastle. Stoke on Trent which has been just been suggested is closer to Hull than Newcastle is.

Not exactly a big star yet but Lizzo has just announced some UK dates for the other side of this weekend. Her current single is playlisted on Radio 1 so I suspect she’s booked.
