Not being a pervert but when you say 'going down' do you mean insertion? Sorry, but there's not really a polite way of asking.
Pinhead
Yeah, I suppose you could interpret different sex acts out of that phrase, but yes - actual insertion here - dildo was strapped to chair - she sat on chair... It began as part of a burlesque dance of some form, but then it unexpectedly transformed into a kind of allegory to sexual liberation - or something like that. This must have been something like the 2005 or 2007 Lost Vagueness, and was in a smallish theatre marquee at the end of the field where you could get back onto the railway line as it was all arranged then. See how it stuck with me all these years....

A group of us are at an Everyman next Tuesday wondering whether they'll be some wide eyed footage from back in the day. I have it on good authority that we near the front for the famous Fat Boy 'dressed as a bumblebee' set.

Fishman
OK - who was there last night. Was an enjoyable evening with quite a few 'ooh, now i remember that' moments. It was well put together and interesting to see the LV crew grow up. Not sure how much interest it would hold for a non-Glastonbury attendee. Most disappointing was that there were only about 20 people at the London showing. If you're going and you were a kickstarter, make sure you stay to the end as your name in the credits. eFestivals
I was at the Bristol showing, as was Roy Gurvitz and Sofia Olin. Pretty sure it was full, tho probably only 100 seats. It was interesting, but like you said, probably not that interesting to non-glasto goers. From a hands-up, everyone was.

fred quimby
Was at the Bristol showing last night. Great cinema. Had not been in there for ages. Film was good. Interesting and showed the rise and fall of Roy. Agree that not sure anyone would be that interested if not involved in that scene or a Glastonbury goer. Did make me long for a better music policy in the SE corner and the inactive aspect of it though. Could not stay for the band or speak to Roy as Mrs Q had an early start

He was sat directly in front of me, and when he sat down I was thinking I'd be hearing a rant at bits he didn't like, but there was none of that ... tho the angle of the film was less scathing than I was expecting it to be. Him and Sofia seemed on good enough terms, from what I heard of them talking.

fred quimby
Just talking to someone about the film and mouse came up in the conversation. I had wiped it from my memory that I had seen Her until the film, not at Glastonbury but Big Chill I think. Not sure how I forget that act . The60ftOctopus
Went to see it in Birmingham. Really enjoyed it. I just missed out on experiencing LV, so really interesting to see how Shangri La was born.

Yes, I thought it was quite forgiving of his behaviour, following the 'well his Dad was a horrible prick so what chance did he have' story arc. I thought it was quite fair overall. Yep, he became an arse, but also everything about 'the show' had also changed to turn him into an arse. While a lot of that was his own choice in trying to make it a full-time business, it could quite possibly be the case that the amount Glastonbury paid wasn't enough to sustain it in any other way (which is a common theme I've heard many times over the years from many people, where they do Glasto as a 'loss leader' because of the kudos it gives to enable them to get other work). Pinhead
Is that still the case then with Shangri-la would you say?

In the film, the woman in charge of Shangli-la now says she's too poor to have a mortgage, giving the impression that she struggles to make it work financially. Yoghurt on a Stick
I can't get to see this film. It's probably been mentioned before (if so, apologies), but is this film coming out as a downloadable thingy (not that I can down load anything!) ?
