Managed to get next year's shift-team plan to a state of 'leave requested' for the week, but it's not guaranteed. Think I'd stamp about a bit if they didn't give me the time though; had to say it was for pre-booked family holiday so as not to give anyone else on my team any bright ideas.

Makes my stomach churn at the thought of not getting in on TD. I've been saving a tenner a week in a tin and since I thought of doing this I'm now up to £460...I'm having terrible thoughts about using this to buy one of these 'packages' which I've heard ensure entry; is this true, as this time next year I'll have a grand or so but that would mean not getting my lad a ticket which I know I couldn't do. I'm also thinking of blowing it all at IoW festival in a couple of weeks ?
