Saw family this weekend and one of the older generation said they'd heard Glastonbury was full of people lobbing piss in the air. I'd rather people pissed themselves than do that but can't say I've found either behaviour to be that common in the last 10 years I've been going.
I mean, we know how much certain things cost elsewhere. £50 on a ticket is nearly £7 million, which for example was the budget for Secret Cinema's Empire Strikes Back run (https://www.screendaily.com/news/secret-cinema-chief-talks-future-plans-and-global-expansion/5133523.article)
(Although since the festival aren't ever going to put £50 on the ticket for non-music experiences, your point is a good one as it explains why we'll never see something like that realised).
I can't see them making massive operational changes, early on at least, except perhaps budgets. Most of the potential buyers seem to be investment companies (much like the current arrangement). If it's the media co, however, I guess there might be more scope for change happening.
