I don't recall seeing any.

Plenty of Stones stuff though! I've just looked through the catalogue. Forty different types of top! A bit over the top?

Thought so. Can’t take be taking any money away from the Stones machine :ninja:

I know! It’s amazing how many variations they can make out of a big whack off tongue splattered on a tee. More money on beer it is then

see if you can spot yourself with below - it is best to think you will end up with standing/seats at the back and if you get more its a extra bonus - its a ' lucky dip ' so it will be a random allocation - Hope your train is not Cancelled again - warn your friend about the bag situation { what a balls up that was }

Ha ha. That's a great little clip. I've never, ever spotted myself in any footage of anything, anywhere that I have attended.

Two for seventy quid is already a bonus. It's already a "win" day whatever happens. This has truly been an extraordinary week.

Trains are fine tonight apparantly. Just got unlucky on Tuesday. May even get back for last orders.

My friend got the Glastonbury mantra of "Don't take anything you're not prepared to lose", firmly embedded into their bonce when I gave them a pre match briefing Wednesday night.

Any lucky dip ticket holders have had it spelled out to them this time:

Also: The same email stated that there is no cloak/bag room. But they did carry an advert for some private storage place that is apparently nearby. £6 per item. I'd post a screenshot but a bit pushed for time. Maybe later.

have a great time - will send you a PM later and I will keep my fingers crossed that your train runs .

would love to know where this bag store is - it was £5 on Tuesday so perhaps they are using another place. but at least many will not get caught out as they did on Tuesday

Lucky Dip tickets and got the Golden Circle, over the moon with tonight. How they perform like that at 70+ I will never know.

I know that others from efest also got Golden Circle tickets - they were well pleased.

I am sure they will post about it at a later stage.

Well. Here I am :).

Rocked up at around half three/four. Was offered a fan of about ten envelopes. Got my friend to choose. I opened. The absolute bloody star picked out Gold Circle. I may have jigged and wept a bit.

We got to about three rows from the front barrier, in the corner by the runway, to start with. Left after Florence (who played a blinder) and still managed to get back to about fifth row same spot.

Totally different gig close up. I didn't even notice the stage extensions from where I was on Tuesday my view was so bad. MJ is possibly the worlds greatest frontman. I mean, he pretty much invented it. Still pulling the moves.

And the sound up front was incredible. Really loud at the end. Heaviest Sympathy for the Devil I've ever heard. Always loved the guitar tone on that and they absolutely shredded it last night. Awesome.

I'd imagine that there were a lot more GC tix in the hat than Tuesday. Saw quite a lot of hand stamps. Like others have said I didn't get "why the stamp?". Done at box office after ticket collection then never looked at/asked for again.

Even from the front, I'm still of the opinion that the stage could've done with being a few feet higher. Probably H&S issues with that though. Can't have some rock megastar possibly falling a couple of storeys.

Just made the last train. Made the mistake of taking a downstairs exit (friend has stair issues)and was then herded further away from the station with every minute it seemed. That place is a nightmare. Easy to get too. Hard to get of. It's like the whole area is built on two levels and if you get stuck in the bottom one you're a bit fucked. Met loads of lost panicky, getting cross people. From three visits there it seems that there is only one bridge/route opened back to my station. I knew where it was. Just couldn't suss out how to get up to it. Signage is practically non existent and the signs you do see are often vague. Also the stewards were at their usual unknowledgable level of helpfulness. Definitely misinformed by one. Eventually found a (well hidden and unsignposted) staircase up to the required bridge, but if we hadn't found that when we did we'd've been stuck there overnight I reckon.

Anyway. Well done and thanks The Stones and Axs for this lucky dip thing. A great idea. I'd love to know the stats. Good luck to Ed Sheeran in his battle with the touts as well.

(GW I'll reply to your PM sometime soon).

Edit: Can anyone remember how much GC tickets were originally?

I saw a pic on Twitter of one that was £249.99 + £24.99 booking fee, so you basically got a £275 ticket for £30.

I wanted to drop a hint without stealing your thunder

I was well pleased when I read your text.

I have seen the Stones close up - I even had Keith Richards ask me where the stage was - cracked me up - I pointed to the Stage and he said something like ' cool man ' - he was well out of it - I was in the Glasgow Green's Playhouse { was renamed The Apollo  but then demolished in 1987} Managers Office - he is a old friend - he was on the phone when Keith walked in and must have thought I worked there - I had worked out what he was looking for so I showed him the back stage door - I missed my chance as I should have asked for his autograph - But I have never been in a Golden Circle as a Punter. In fact I did not know there was a runway until I spotted the shot the day later when the Mail was going on about the bags scandal. You and your friends was dead lucky

Well done, glad you got it as well :)

I'm not a fan of stadium or arena gigs at all, but the GC certainly made it very enjoyable. Im not sure I would have enjoyed the gig half as much as I had been at the back. I saw GNR last year in GA and although I'm a bigger fan of them, I enjoyed the stones so much better because the sound, proximity and easy access of leaving to the bar/toilet and getting back to your spot (I suppose there is a musical argument there somewhere as well though :P ) .

Hi all, new here and was hoping one of you could help. I’ve got 2 tickets for Southampton on Tuesday - General Admission.  I’ve just had an email from AXS saying I’ve bought Lucky Dip tickets and what to do/where to go for tickets (which I already have). Is there a mix up, do you think? Has anyone else had the same emails? Thanks for any info. :)

Did you buy them recently for £30 each (£35 with charges)?

If so they probably are lucky dip and general admission is used instead of a real ticket type (as opposed to some events where that can mean standing or a non allocated seat). Its a but confusing if you already have tickets in hand though.

Sorry for double post but is there any info available for Southampton lucky dips? I haven't heard anything since my order confirmation which just has very generic information on it.

I'm looking for info on when we should be there to get them and from where (I think it mentions box office but I don't know the stadium so I'm hoping at the very least it will be signposted there). It feels like there was a lot more info for previous nights...

I got told by AXS that I can't collect them til 6:30 and I'd be escorted to my seat/standing area. Didn't believe them cos I saw someone on a Stones forum say they'd collected theirs already. Just went to try and collect them and got given £400 no filter pit tix lool.
