eFestivals
had a bit of info about 2 nights at Old Trafford (footie stadium) in early June. I'm not entirely sure it's happening, but I'm told it's been seriously discussed.

Tho as I said above, the info that's come to me isn't guaranteeing that those shows are happening, only that those shows are an option for the Stone's schedule. I know from previous stuff that's come my way they don't necessarily go with all the options.
jackarmy
Isn't Old Trafford notoriously shit for gigs and boxing? (And football...)

AAlex
Hopefully with this as well we can't be far off an announcement, albeit not in Sunderland I was starting to think it wasn't happening!

I've only been there once (Springsteen) and it was WAY too quiet, don't know if that's always the case though.
Dom Wall
Thoughts on them doing Europe too?

It's a big deal putting the stones juggernaut on the road, so they tend to make it worthwhile when they do.

They did Europe last autumn so I don’t think they’ll cover it much if at all. Just to add to the thread there are rumours going back a few weeks of 17/5 at Croke Park and 19+23/6 at Twickenham. Hoping the time between is plugged by extensive UK stops.

FuzzyDunlop
I'm in Ireland 15-18th June so hoping Manchester isn't that weekend.
Brave Sir Robin
I've heard one or more dates at the Emirates (Arsenal) has also been discussed. It's not happening there, but very likely to be elsewhere in London. I note Dental suggests Twickenham, which would make sense.

R Shah
London stadium said foo fighters were the first of their 2018 concert series - implying there will be more. They have to convert to athletics venue by July 14th and foos are playing June 23rd so stones could play first weekend of July maybe ? Or weekend of 15th/16th June
