A few years back someone had the whole forum believing there was going to be 2Ā main stages. Absolute scenes.

Someone had the forum believe it was RATM / Liam Gallagher / Stormzy

Even though when that person said if you hit 300 pages I will say everything I know and that occurred and people were told they still believed the first option.Ā

Absolute scenes.Ā

To be absolutely fair, Dan did say to take the new undercard with the old headliners. So you can understand why people would believe it.

I think if RATM are doing Rock en Seine, that's a sign this is potentially go. So I'd wait until that announcement and if it comes in, go nuts. If it doesn't, open season for other names.

if it doesn’t then the fun begins, if it does then the hype begins

i have a horrible feeling that we got the first headliners, then the second lot, then no one wanted to believe the second set so they convinced themselves that the first set was most realistic.

BUT

if , in an hour, we hear that rage are playing in rock en seine *as they did last time* then maybe i'll be open to changing my mind

Yeah dan told us not to trust any info and has gone back and forth on loads of stuff.

What I’m believing is the clues that rage are about to announce something. Not someone with a proven track record of winding people up.

    • I am as well not a fan of these side by side stages. too many people at the same places and you have always people around you who wait for the other stage...Ā
    • If only they could get the Bits area back (and add maximum 5k capacity) the site would feel less crowded.Ā
    • Blame it on the side-by-side setup. There are cases where it works well - got a great location in front of the middle screen for Bexter Dury-Big Thief-Little Simz, just had to move about 20 meters each time for a great location. But on most cases it sucks Ā
    • was happy to swerve the main stages on Saturday, but thought it was fine for The Cure, we just went down the opposite side & got a decent spot close to the front, everyone into it (admittedly a bit off to the side) Ā  a festival that now books Olivia Rodrigo as a surprise set isn't going to get any smaller, for better or for worse it is miles apart from when I was first going Ā  personally I still find the people amazing, never have any hassle & the line ups are always so strong & diverse.Ā  We will definitely return for the 25th anniversary next year!
    • I love this festival but Mordor has got worse and worse to the point now that I dread going there. 10 years ago there just weren’t as many people, as many bottlenecks and there wasnt the need to arrive early to have a decent spot.
