Lineup 2020

Anyone got a link to the Reddit stuff or what they have actually said. Have they just listed headliners?

So many conflicting pieces of information. Even if Dan was a builder from Glasgow who was just listing bands out of thin air, he comes out a hero. Statistically, one is bound to be right...

I’m also a 17 year old MCR fan.

top 3 MCR songs:

1. Cemetery drive

2. it’s not a fashion statement it’s a deathwish

3. The light behind your eyes

I can’t do a top 3 but 5 in no particular order would be

Make Room!!

Boy Division

The Sharpest Lives

Thank you For the Venom( which is epic when preceded by Interlude)

Vampire Money(again better when preceded by Goodnite, Dr Death)

Already happened in 2008.

QOTSA weren’t great that night though.

Aye, I thought it had happened already like, wouldn't say no to it happening again though. Thought some of the stuff from Villains was great, would like to see it live.

Think @Matt42's idea of Biffy subbing them is a more realistic one. A man can dream though!

Up for bass ha, I'll take Mikey then.

Also, top 3 songs, not in order:

Cemetery Drive

Make Room

Party Poison

Solid tunes, and I guess that leave @Tom Connolly as the mighty Gerard my idol and the basis of my name

Anyone could take a good stab at the line up now given the headliner pool seems to have been narrowed down to 7 or 8 people but he could be spot on, at this point you just wont know until tomorrow.

Or tonight after French things

i’ll take that anyday

Good good mate

    • I guess we should also not underestimate that the Slowdive sound person is probably not quite used to open-air daytime performances in such a large, open area. 🙂 I imagine it's very different from mixing the sound in a tent. Plus, even though I was openminded about it at first - you never know how things might sound or work out in a different setting if you don't try - I just don't think their sound is very suited for this kind of setting, it really benefits from darkness and a nice light show and all that. Still, nice that they got to give it a try.
    • i agree, was really disappointed by the Slowdive sound (we were fairly close to the podium) also if you consider that for all other main stage acts i saw they got it perfectly right.
    • Thanks man for sharing your thoughts. I would say i generally agree with you and do agree people close to the podium should position themselves further back if they want to have full conversations and apparently are not interested in the music; to fair it is mind boggling these people are even there as chatting gets so much easier in the back field. That said i did not really have the same experience as you, front rows for example at MBV, Men I trust, Big Thief, NewDad, Slowdive, where really into the music.    yes i BBK is really high on our list but we just realized it is next year 25 years of Primavera so perhaps we do one more.
    • When does the Thursday lineup get announced? I see they had Moonchild Sanelly and Young Knives last year, would be cool to get something along those lines again.
