WM Hall
Same as every year... Who are your top 10 acts to see this year? Put em in order if you can... And update your selection when others are announced, obviously! 1. Mulatu Astatke 2. Ariel Pink 3. Omar Souleyman 4. Julia Holter 5. Richard Dawson 6. John Cale 7. Yo La Tengo 8. Destroyer 9. Feist 10. Mdou Moctar

Born in the fifties
Version 1 (before I listen to any of the acts I don't already know). Vampire Weekend Ezra Furman (Garden headliner or Woods sub? - I'd prefer the former, but if so, who would he clash with?) Protomartyr Shame Colter Wall Big Thief Jeff Tweedy Hookworms Gruff Rhys (still remember his set + .ppt presentation last time) Imarhan And now to start in on the playlist. paulwa
Roughly in this order... Idles Shame Oh Sees Hookworms Hiss Golden Messenger Vampire Weekend You La Tengo This is the Kit Gwenno Imarhan ... I guess I'm looking forward to the noisy stuff most! TheMerryPig
Of course, best reason to post here is to laugh at how different your own list is after pre-festi listening. Easy ones: Ezra Aldous Harding Vampire Weekend Shame Idles Big Thief Japanese Breakfast Oh Sees Then a large number to choose from for the last two slots, so 8 it is, rather than making an arbitrary choice. Great line-up for my personal tastes, including a couple I already have tickets for.
Jack1212
Of the bigger names: Vampire Weekend (pleasantly surprised by how excited for this one I am - ready to journey back to 2011) Feist Julia Holter Aldous Harding Big Thief And on some of the undercard, which I wasn't as excited as others seemed to be, but then I delved a little deeper, and yes, it's amazing: Julien Baker Nilufer Yanya Stella Donnelly David Thomas Broughton Richard Dawson

robertjohnmalkin
After a month or so of listening my list now looks like this Idles Shame Oh Sees Hookworms Flat Worms Snail Mail (As noted by others here, the noisier end of the spectrum) The Weather Station Soccer Mom Julien Baker Jeff Tweedy God, the line up is so good I'm going armed with these 10 as my must sees hopeful for no clashes and let the rest unfold as it may. Although this list might not immediately reflect it the split between male and female acts is pretty spot on when other festivals are only just starting to talk about it.
