Ah yes, those classic dad rock bands Scouting For Girls, Natalie Imbruglia and Keane. Surely they're mum pop.

That's a fairly 'eclectic' set of tracks. Stacey's Mom??

The compilation must surely have been the biggest casualty in the age of streaming.

They actually sell ridiculously strongly. Because the sort of people who buy them (the regular editions, not Dad Rock and the like) buy the physical copies and probably don't stream - and streams are worth about 0.07 of a sale or something - they tend to end up as the biggest selling albums of any given year. They even do reasonably well on streaming platforms, bizarrely.

People seem to stream them at party's rather than making a playlist. Which is weird, but there ya go.

Some dads are gonna be left red-faced when Bastille comes on the speakers at their party.

Such a fun song. Also hilarious breaking down the fourth wall.

Wtf I was literally just watching this for the first time after seeing it posted on a Kanye forum from a week ago, then I come on here and see it was posted here by a guy called "The life of Pablo" whilst I was watching it.

Are you watching me?

The man's a legend. Back catalogue only recently added to Spotify. I particularly recommend Manipulator, Twins, and the self-titled from last year.

Good album for start with really, includes a hefty amount of sounds he's gone through. That opening guitar in Every1s a Winner hits me in the gut every time, I love it. Melted's my favourite album of his, cannae beat that level of fuzz for me.

Oh thats good! I own about 2/3s of his stuff, still missing some of the older releases. Nice to see they have Fuzz and the Ty Segall Band up there too.

Sounds like Blackstar era Bowie and I love it. Pretty different sound for them and it's got me a lot more intrigued/excited about this new release.

As always I have no idea whether this marks me down as one of the cool kids,  but really liking the Spencer Brown album that came out last week.
