They never really seemed like my kinda thing so I never bothered; plus until this year I've been awful at keeping up with new music. I'll give that and the new one a listen at some point this week.

I lasted about half a dozen tracks of that Blood Orange album. Yer man hasn’t got the vocals for that type of music, sounded really weak to me.

Gave it another listen today and it felt so long to me. Checked the length and it was less than 50 mins, so it definitely dragged a lot to say it isn't actually that long.

Can't wait to give that new Idles album a listen, I only know once source for getting my music early... so hopefully it's there but it isn't the most reliable. 

I've got the vinyl pre-ordered though so it might turn up a day early!

The new Idles album is going to be incredible. Best thing I ever did was stumble into a tent at 2000 Trees in 2016 and welcome them into my life. It's been unreal watching the momentum pick up since then, it's going to be rather lovely this Friday at Rough Trade for the launch.

Been revisiting the Kanye releases from earlier in the year and I must say Kids See Ghosts has grown on me a lot. Didn't realise how good 4th Dimension was at the time. Ye is still pretty average and Daytona is still sick (that one has been in regular rotation since its release tbf).

Also gave the Nas album my first listen and enjoyed it more than I expected given the pretty poor reception it got.

Oh it isn't a double album with one disk being acoustic, there's just a deluxe version with 5 alternate versions of album songs, 3 of them being acoustic versions.
