UndergroundSound
Scottish garage post-punk group Sweaty Palms have dropped their debut album 'Quit Now' today. Very impressed with it so far. Similarities to bands like Shame and The Blinders. 'Transit Paul' is my favourite track right now, highly recommend giving the album a listen.

Oh sweet cheers, I saw these supporting DUDS a while ago (a gig I 100% haven't imagined and definitely happened in Manchester Soup Kitchen in January but there's no evidence of this on the internet, don't tell my boss I just wasted half an hour looking ahah) and they were great live, seemed nice as well afterwards. Sounds good so far.

They're always going to get compared to The Go-Betweens, but that spoken word bit on the opening track is so like Cattle & Cane.

Would've loved to have seen them in Southampton on their recent tour (last month I think) but somehow I only found out about the gig on the evening that it was happening and couldn't get there. Amy Lawn
Dig this new snippet of Grimes First the .Paak/Twigs/Jonze collab, now this, Apple is making a serious effort to be cool people. And what is more; I simply must get my hands on stickers of the artworks for each Art Angels track, and stick them on my computer in the same configuration Scary Clare has those stickers on hers. Amy Lawn
We need Shelly Johnson in here to declare that Grimes is still cool and always has been. I'll tell you what I'm pure sick of; artists stylising their album and track and artist names to be ALL IN CAPS or all lower case. I'm not having it anymore, manually overtyping it all on iTunes. Pack that shit in, pop music community at large.

Mash011
Vampire Weekend made their live return and teased a tiny bit of some new stuff. Not quite enough to tell what it's going to be like but hey, I'm excited. Their End of the Road show will be magic.

priest17
Jay-Z and Beyonce released an album over the weekend, but it's only on Tidal so might as well not exist. Based on this song, I'm not too bothered

It'll probably be the most streamed album in history, as it's on Tidal and it's by Tidal's owner and his wife.

Amy Lawn
The Bey-Z album was the one what triggered me btw. Also I was bored by it. Imagine me being bored by Beyonce, this is unprecedented.
