Mash011
Titus Andronicus dropping a stone cold banger here to make me feel like my weird sleep patterns are justified. Much more upbeat for those who were worried the whole thing would be ballads, kind of bouncy Springsteeny pop track with some gospely backing vocals and shoop shoop shalalas, lots of nice instrumentation and great lyrics. God I love them. Edited February 5, 2018 by Mash011
JacquelineS
I am liking Kyle Craft a lot. The full album was released on Friday.
st dan
Really enjoying the new MGMT album after my first few listens. A few really strong tracks on there (Little Dark Age, One Thing Left To Try) - easily their best output since Oracular.
Mash011
I'm gonna need an Ezra Furman leak asap so I can stop listening to 'Suck the Blood From My Wound' on repeat.
priest17
I listened to the new Hookworms one, I haven't listened to them for years but didn't these guys used to (for lack of a better term) rock out?
CaledonianGonzo
Nah...their game just used to be a bit less elevated.

Odessa
Little Dark Age is definitely a return to form. Impossible to say if it's near the level of Oracular Spectacular and Congratulations after one listen, but it's clearly better than the self-titled record. Very happy with it atm. Been listening to it a bit this weekend. It gets off to a rocky start (Heartbreak Junky aside) but the second half is lovely. Don't think I'll return to it as much as Dolls of Highland because of that but there are some really fine songs to add to his repertoire here.
