GrumpyRaver
A good time for some lineup speculation I think now tickets are flying off the shelves. Who do you want to play? I’ll kick things off... Alt J Kendrick Kylie Orbital Moderat Ritchie Hawtin Loyle Carner Phoenix Sohn Heidi Black Madonna
evannn
NERD, Bon Iver (heard he was rumoured for this year before he cancelled his tour), St Vincent, Four Tet, Jon Hopkins, Wiki, Noname (don’t know if she’ll be touring next summer but), Jlin, SOPHIE
jackarmy
Can see Friendly Fires getting a prominent slot on the lineup if they're coming back with a new album. Massive Attack are probably in with a shout of headlining now that they seem to be having a repeat headliner every year, playing Mad Cool in Spain the month before. gsansom
I think the following are in with a shout: Florence and that fandangled contraption of hers N*E*R*D Justice Personally I'd like to see some: Wu Tang Clan Raleigh Ritchie Tove Lo Joey Bada$$ Banks The hunna Kaleo Sigrid Bleachers Keir Oh my God it's the church! Shy Fx The Streets (Dear Rob, if you're reading this!!!!) Pink (amazing at IOW2010) and could tie in nicely with the theme And a little Big Willie wouldn't go amiss. Thank you please

GrumpyRaver
I’m gonna throw Floating Points and Daphni/Caribou into the mix too...
jackarmy
Think Loyle Carner will definitely be back after having to cancel last year. The Horrors are probably in with a shout of playing before the headliner one night as well.
dentalplan
Blood Hound Gang headlining Edited November 16, 2017 by dentalplan
Callum_96
I heard last year that it was Bestival that offered the Streets money for a come back and now they're doing shows I could see them doing it
gsansom
Man I hope so. Just as Oasis first two albums soundtracked my mid 90s The Streets first two were my early 00s in a nutshell. Love to catch them again.
Frankly Mr Shankly
For the headliners: Depeche Mode, Morrissey & Kylie (would prefer Madonna but chose to be slightly realistic) David Byrne on the line up would be amazing too (headlining or otherwise)

jackarmy
Could something like this work? Primal Scream Massive Attack The Horrors N*E*R*D Loyle Carner Kylie Friendly Fires Not sure if there's any one act in particular that jumps out as a major ticket-shifter, so probably not...

It would certainly get me to return after missing the last 2 years. Maybe replace Primal Scream with somebody more interesting though. stocky3000
With Bestival now occuring the week after Camp Bestival, do you think they will share a considerable number of acts?

At the top end of the bill I expect them to be different. They're aimed at different audiences.

Homer
Primal Scream have played twice before - which might make them less likely.

Yeah, perhaps - although they do seem more willing to repeat acts nowadays... Thursday headliners are always especially difficult to predict, but I think they'd be a decent choice to kick things off. Homer
Camp Bestival line-up has dropped - hopefully Besti is on the way with some repeat business (Orbital especially).
