Rammstein just announced, wanting to try get a RHCP resale and Glastonbury in the next month... I'm going to need to pick and choose... Or sell the car. I've seen Springsteen a few times before, he's gonna need to bump down the list. Loads of tickets on twickets for stadium gigs just before the show nowadays. Thats my tactic going forward, last minute tickets for cheap

I recently paid the most I ever have to see one band through a tickemaster resale. Green Day in Glasgow end of June. My son's fave band, he's 17.. 130 each for VIP (posher toilets). Defo an age thing, I remember saying no artist is worth this when it hit 55 to see Bowie 20 years ago. Everytime I see a stadium gig now, it's the cost of a holiday. finn_with_1_n
on the topic of spenny tickets, the Paolo Nutini ticket for Ally Pally came to around £57. but as his first UK tour in eight years (I think), I’ll take the hit It does now mean I have tickets for three London shows on the same day (JapBreak, Bon Iver, Paolo). plenty of choice for giggoers that day

I hate the Manchester stadiums for gigs for various reasons so I'd love that. Still might do Hyde Park if it's one of those BST days though Seems Anfield is quite popular with Live nation atm what with Eagles, stones and elton being booked for this summer only thing i'm not sure about is how far along they'd be with the Anfield road extension. it's 5 minute drive from my house so would love it. Genuine potential for all time favourite set for me I think, especially in a non-headline slot. I hope Steven gets the support he needs and makes a full recovery - the most important thing in the circumstances.

WestCountryGirl
Once through the waiting room for the Friday Bruce show I had 32000 ahead of me in the queue. Managed to snag two pitch standing tickets for the Sunday when I actually got my chance. SO RELIEVED.

CaledonianGonzo
Just realised that - for reasons I dont quite understand - partway through the transaction my ticket has evolved from Friday 5th to Tuesday 9th. Oh well.

Oh well. Probably what happened to me - I noticed the message saying "No matches for your chosen date" - but right beneath is the box showing two available tickets, for the alternative date. I wasn't about to grumble!

Though I am making a habit of missing the Champions League final for events - was at Depeche Mode in 2017, Muse in 2019 and at a friend's barbecue last year. So I look forward to booking a 2023 alternative. Well what a gig that was. River is Wild in the set was unexpected. It had it's lulls on the lesser stuff but the bangers were great. Even better so, I got to the golden circle and a bloke just said yeah go on through. Edited May 29 by thewayiam

I'd settled for just being by the sound desk myself. Looks like a good view. Looked like it really went off for Somebody Told Me and Human. I could take or leave River is Wild if I'm honest - it's a brilliant song and I'm happy they played it as it is a belter that was not expected in the set but it's genuinely been played at 2 of my last 3 Killers shows (and last 2 headliners, given last time was opening for Gorillaz at a festival in Paris) and a part of me was hoping for Midnight Show, which I'd not seen before. But heyho. Manics as support were good too. Had not really heard them but did recognise a few beats. Edited May 29 by charlierc
