My Young Fathers Manchester ticket just arrived and I have ticket number 1. The first ticket going. Numero Uno. This has never happened to me before, surely it entitles me to some sort of super fan special prize?

That'll be because the booking page was put up on here a few days early, somebody found it just by trawling See, and it was listed as a Deaf Institute gig. I'll check mine when I pick them up, reckon I'll be like 2 and 3 or summat.

Yeah I got tagged in a post linking it and blindly bought one instantly. Still a little gutted it moved from deaf but it'll be good either way, see you all there.

Spotted Slash is in Glasgow with the Myles Kennedy fella early next year.

Not in the Hydro so thought I’d maybe take it in. Not at £55 though.

£55?!

He's playing Doncaster on the same tour. Can't even fathom what the local reaction to those prices are.

Visited YES for the first time yesterday, gonna be some great gigs and nights there when they work out the kinks, bit annoying that sound problems limited Lets Eat Grandma to 3 songs (didn't even play Hot Pink in the pink room, missed opportunity)  but it was all free so it's chilled. Hopefully when the hype dies down the bar queues won't be so mad. Exciting anyway.

Hopefully I'll be checking it out tonight before the League of Gentlemen at the Apollo. Photos look great on twitter.

Won some tickets to Jess Glynne at the Albert Hall tomorrow so might bob down for that one.

Worth popping your head round the door for a bit at least. I'll probably wander down again tomorrow afternoon to see it when it's not absolutely rammo ahah.

Ffs got probably my only Cribs fix of 2018 last night and barely even remember the gig. And they did one of my favourite deep cuts, Nothing, for the first time in nearly 9 years. Pretty cool setlist with that and Baby Don't Sweat in there, I was expecting a less interesting one. Glad that they didn't end on Pink Snow, hope they ditch that one for a while now. Great song but it's gone kinda stale finishing on that.

Suede appartently played Coming Up in full at the Brudenell last night. As if I wasn't already gutted enough about missing out on tickets. That was the first proper album I owned (on good old cassette!). Ah well.

Seen a leaked (maybe fake so cba posting it here) Metallica tour with a massive Glasto shaped hole mid-tour. Not that I'm speculating about them returning to play but it's fantastic to see that Lars is still so totally in love with the place that he's taking time out of entertaining tens of thousands of fans to do what we do; trudge around fields, eating baguettes and stuff.

Bit odd that they’re playing an old album in full the weekend their new one is out.

They did two shows; the first of the gigs was pretty much The Blue Hour in full with Outsiders and a couple from Bloodsports thrown in.

Christ that's a massive hole. And almost a whole week to recover. Lars must really smash it

If Metallica play it'll be a Killers-style secret set.

Lol that just sounds ridiculous for Glastonbury. Would only be good if it was really secret and I was one of the few people who knew about it though, got nowhere near the killers last year!

Any word on price of GA standing for Twickenham? I see Ticketmaster listing prices between £60-£130, so likely £90ish for standing?
