FakeEmpire
Saw Slowthai in Bristol which was absolutely brilliant - third time seeing him this year and easily the best. Redeemed himself after a messy Glasto performance. On the other end of the spectrum, saw Cher this weekend which was great fun! This week: Headie One and Marina. squirrelarmy
Pigeon Detectives have just announced a tour after a two year break which is ending in May. Would be good to see them on the Other Stage. Don’t think they’re big enough for the Pyramid yet.

Hugh Jass
Tempted by this, at that price it’d be rude not to. Can imagine getting tickets being a real scrum though...

The Clearest Blue
La Roux was great in Jon Peel 2015, would be more than happy for her to return to the farm
zero000
La Roux's last album was criminally underrated. Some bangers on that record.
Quark
OK I had to post this somewhere, mainly to check that I've not either gone through a wormhole to a parallel universe or just gone insane. Standing tickets for Simply Red's tour next autumn priced at £180. £180!!!!! Have I missed something somewhere?

Gnomicide
The Hold Steady back in London for 3 nights next March. Really enjoyed them at Electric Ballroom this year so may well go back.

Jeremy Irons
I've made time in my busy schedule of shooting feature-lengths and reciting Shakespeare to anyone who will listen to see The 1975 this weekend in Paris. In the great 1975 v Foals debate that has swelled and ebbed over on the Headliners chat I've always firmly come down on the side of Foals, although I honestly haven't listened to The 1975 since their first album singles were rinsed & repeated back on R1 back in 2013. However I'm interested to see where the belief in them as future/potential headliners originates. Anyone got suggestions on which songs of theirs a headline set doth make? Homer
Off to Snapped Ankles at Village Underground in Shoreditch tonight. Hoping the temps stay below 40 degrees, unlike their W Green set...
