Aussie psych bands seem to be on a mission to ridiculously out-moniker each other. Really decent band though. For the past 3 or 4 years Australia is where my favourite guitar-based music has been coming from. Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, Pond, King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, The Murlocs, The Babe Rainbow, DZ Deathrays...see what I mean? They a bit like King Gizz? I'll give them a listen

Not psych but out that way; Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever is the best band name I’ve ever heard. Tropical Fuck Storm is one that sticks in the mind too. Loads of great bands

Gilgamesh69
Thoughts? O2 Presale tomorrow, regular sale on Friday. Don't know about the prices for the rest but it seems The 1975 is £25 Are these Warchild gigs any good or do they tend to be pretty basic with short sets? I went to The 1975's War Child gig in 2017 and enjoyed it. They did about 80 mins, trimmed off the instrumental sections of their main show. Just great to see a large band in a tiny venue. I assume the set times differentiate per band. For example, wouldn't be surprised if IDLES did a full show. Enter Shikari is also £25 so it seems that's the case across the board

Can see them slotting into any of JPT, WG & Park - probably the former two more likely Ireland has a great scene at the moment, Fonts (Mayo & Dub), Murder Capital (Dub), Just Mustard (Dundalk) & The Cosmics (Donegal) check them all out online.
Hugh Jass
Hoping that Fontaines will show up on the Farm, a mate recommended them a few weeks ago and I enjoyed what I've heard so far.

Thanks for this list btw, I'm so out of the loop on new guitar music, loving all of those, and have promptly sent the same list to a group of mates with similar taste to mine!
