Citadel seems the obvious shout but they did Victoria Park across town last summer. Bluedot? Edited November 6, 2018 by dentalplan
Callum_96
Not sure if Blue Dot might be a bit small? Maybe EOTR or Green Man potentially, struggling to think of others. A wildcard could potentially be a slot at IOW...

Could be too soon to return, although alt-J came back after 3 years this year so it's not unprecedented.
nikkic
Strange one that. From the wording of their posts on Insta it seemed like the SWB tour was done. Honestly thought we wouldn’t see them again until 2020.

Not a bad shout, if they've got a new album it could be a goer because they headlined the year before they released Sleep Well Beast so thats technically 2 albums worth of material to show off even though I think they did play a couple off SWB
Amy Lawn
Seem a bit out of GM and EotR's usual orbit, but they did get War On Drugs and Vampire Weekend respectively this year and they're near enough National stature. Couldn't see it be Latitude though, they were playing Sleep Well Beast songs in the 2016 show so they'd essentially be back touring the same album. Guest
Yeah doubt they'll have a new album out by next summer so maybe Latitude isn't the best shout actually.
Hugh Jass
Make them the APE house band, get them back every year!

It has headliners bigger than Green Man and EOTR usually get. 3 minutes ago, SomeoneListeningIn said: Latitude? Same thing happened with Tame Impala, they said currents was over and then mad cool bagged them, must be good money
Amy Lawn
I'd absolutely love it if Green Man managed to snag them, even though I can't really see it happening.

OddRon
Pretty sure The National will have a new album out by mid next year, as soon as swb came out they said they had another album ready and been playing new songs
Hugh Jass
They're headlining Mad Cool? That seems quite a jump in comparison to who headlined there last year.
