you're getting carried away with the size, i think.

A better comparison is to probably look at Victorious in Portsmouth, which is 65,000 ... and isn't getting the likes of Royal Blood.

Fair enough, would quite like the vaccines, the kooks and Noel g as fairly realistic headliners. Still praying for AM though

Doesn’t say it’s an announcement

I know.

But you'd expect general release to be after an announcement, I know last year tickets were on sale on the day of the announcement but I'm not sure if super early bird sold out last year or not

They might try and sell more tickets to people hoping for AM and then drop the lineup

It would be a good way to sell tickets, but continuing that hype if it isn't true will only result in more disappointment

Ahhh you little tease, that probably rules out AM then anyway

It doesn't rule them Out, because nobody knows for certain they're announcing next week.

They might just be announcing mad cool.

    • I f**ked up and bought a car park ticket for sunday, got it delivered to my old address. Will I be able to buy a pass on the gate? Thoughts on muddyness from 0-10?
    • I am as well not a fan of these side by side stages. too many people at the same places and you have always people around you who wait for the other stage...
    • If only they could get the Bits area back (and add maximum 5k capacity) the site would feel less crowded.
    • Blame it on the side-by-side setup. There are cases where it works well - got a great location in front of the middle screen for Bexter Dury-Big Thief-Little Simz, just had to move about 20 meters each time for a great location. But on most cases it sucks
    • was happy to swerve the main stages on Saturday, but thought it was fine for The Cure, we just went down the opposite side & got a decent spot close to the front, everyone into it (admittedly a bit off to the side)   a festival that now books Olivia Rodrigo as a surprise set isn't going to get any smaller, for better or for worse it is miles apart from when I was first going   personally I still find the people amazing, never have any hassle & the line ups are always so strong & diverse.  We will definitely return for the 25th anniversary next year!
