Proof of purchase required upon entry?

Recommended Posts

It's my first time going to reading festival and as I left it till this week to buy a ticket, I was forced to resort to gumtree to buy one, it arrived today and seems genuine but I'm worried I won't get let in without proof of purchase? If anyone could answer my question it would be a big help thanks.

there is no need for proof of purchase.

but if you're worried about it,  just ask the dude for a copy of the receipt, signed with his name & ID stating that he sold the ticket to you (with your name and ID). again,  not really needed...
