Surely if the band are able to come, it's completely legal and everything is officially 'safe', then their contract needs to be fulfilled, or they would owe money to the organisers?

I'd be interested in how they could cancel just because they don't want to tour elsewhere/ basically can't be arsed to come to Europe for 2 gigs.

Down to insurance... I think..... Same with some festivals maybe... Make sure they are insured incase it all goes tits up old son.. I'm probably wrong but....

Sadly, Pearl Jam Hyde has been cancelled until 2022. I just got an email:

That’s the second gig that was due to be played after June 21st that has been postponed, agh! I thought everything would be tickety boo after that date.

Looks like Idles won’t be playing either, which is both disappointing and intriguing. What are they doing on that date instead?

Speculation on the BST thread is that they are at MadCool which runs the same weekend.

Don't think alot of bands will travel.. Ie US bands will probably stay in the US,, the UK in UK European in the Union.. Who knows but ticks roll over so happy

I think this is exactly right.

It may not be up to them either. There's a good chance any one coming into the country will have to quarantine.
