West Holts 2019

Jungle can go either way for me. Thought they were incredible on the Other stage and really enjoyed them at the 6 Music Festival but they weren't much cop  at Coachella. Far better live than on record though.

Sorry if they've been mentioned already, but what do you think think the chances of Khruangbin playing West Holts? They are playing Rock Werchter so are in Europe. And to me they feel like a West Holts kind of band

Just discovered them a few months ago and would love to see them here.

Pretty good chance i reckon as they are in Europe and by the look of it signed up for a few more festivals.

 Could also see them  playing at The Park or the Acoustic

I was just going to ask whether we're thinking JH or Lauryn Hill? Is she too big to headline the WH? I feel like a Friday night WH set from her would be far preferrable to a pyramid set third down or whatever.

I think she’s a pretty big booking and probably wouldn’t want anything other than a Pyramid slot. Seems perfect for the yearly Pyramid hip hop slot to me.

Lauryn would be a great fit for 4th down Pyramid Friday a la Mary J Blige but her time keeping is a real problem.   They'd have to tell her she was on at 11am or something to ensure that she could "push past inertia" in time for the actual slot.

Jon Hopkins has the Saturday down on his website so I’m guesing he’ll be in the John Peel.

I know there was info that Orbital were headlining the JP, but could it be them after all?

Can’t see past her being on the Pyramid myself, but for lack of many other realistic possibilities maybe WH is where she’ll end up.
