also can we have three legitimate West Holts music appropriate headliners not just an act the festival as a whole booked but had to parachute into or force onto WH as it was the only stage deemed available. This may be a controversial statement to some but I don't see the likes of Dizzee Rascal or Disclosure as west holts acts.

Tbf Dizzee was moved to that slot after A Tribe Called Quest pulled out.

I think this is intentional isn’t it? The name was changed from Jazz/World to the non-genre-specific West Holts so they didn’t have to stick to the traditional sound all the time?

Yeah it's brilliant as it is. The festival's too big to have a Kuti son headlining such a massive stage against blockbuster acts as well.

it is intentional and you're very much correct. I don't agree with it from a programming perspective, but fair enough in terms of distributing the crowds.

IIRC they also said the old name caused some acts to not want to play the stage.  In which case changing it seems like a no brainer.

no issue with the stage name, i doubt anyone does. It still has a music policy attached to it though.

But it never just featured solely featured jazz or world artists, and that's still the case.

I'd still say that WH feels quite different from the others though.  While you might say that some acts from the WH lineup could be on the Pyramid or even Other, they still "feel" like they belong on WH
