Hopefully the kindness of the people who helped her restored her faith in humanity. Yes I reread this story this morning and then read others. Crikey she's had a shit time. ClovenFin
I've sent this story to my mom. What a place it is.

cazzatron
Such an amazing story, I can't imagine how nerve wracking it would have been to attend in the first place, and they really went above and beyond for her. Awesome
Watergirl
I saw this yesterday. Great story indeed. Well done from the organization going out of their way to ensure she had as good a time as possible. I did wonder if there was any follow up from the police towards the perpetrator. All she writes is that the police recommended she requested a refund for the festival....
Gozzynoko-Flow
Very touching. What a pondlife friendship group she had too.
StLewi
What's more disturbing is that this isn't the first time this has happened to her. There's a post from 2016 about another assault. Poor lass.
Tyonks
Bitter sweet story in many ways but amazing response from the Glastonbury staff - and its great to hear she had an amazing time despite having to take some precuations during the festival
Alex DeLarge
What an amazing woman, I can't imagine going through what she did and still having the bravery to carry on, reflect on that pain in her writing and say fuck off to the utterly disgusting w*nkers to have an amazing time. Well done to everyone who helped her, what a truly amazing story.

DareToDibble
Saw this earlier and shared it with all my friends. As has been mentioned.. some of her "friends" sound like right dickheads. Luckily she was still able to enjoy the best festival in the world. This just shows what Glastonbury is different to every other festival. Glad she had such a good time. SloopJohnB
The festivals welfare team are amazing! I had to leave site early in 2014 due to a family emergency. In my time of crisis, they were calm and supportive. An understanding support worker was assigned to me and they provided support and transport to Bristol so that I could get back to Manchester.....I'll never forget it and could never thank then enough
mashedonmud
I was taught to love and not hate. I have learned that it's okay to love and hate. Those rotten to the core 'friends' need outing, need embarrassing and need to be held accountable for harrassing this poor girl. As for the loathsome backward thinkig mysogonistic twat I feel I can't describe what he deserves, which is quite damning on a site as free talking as this. Hope she returns to Glastonbury many times to see and feel the love again and again and again....
Homer
Don't know what to say but just wanted to echo the sentiments on here - big up to the staff who helped her; and biggest up of them all to her for forging ahead. Incredible.
