I started looking into good power banks, lights and walking boots.

any recommendations for reliable, not excessive in price power bricks? I don’t fancy fetching 10 little sticks with me that’ll be dead before I even get a chance to use them.

this one often gets recommended ...and its the one I own

Got three phones most of the way through the festival last time. Doesn’t support the latest quick charge tech but a solid piece of kit. Can also be used as a weight to anchor your tent !

it will hopefully be man enough to power the pyramid stage and outfit for at least 2 nights ... probably more

Set up my new tent (bought thanks to that discount code posted on this very thread) - was trying to fathom out if the poles have some sort of magnet in them as they slide together almost by themselves, like they were some sort of self repairing robot. Do they put magnets in poles now?

The other futuristic aspect of this new tent is it comes in a draw string bag, so I no longer have to face the exasperating battle of trying to zip up my tent bag on Monday morning

Anyone know when the worthy view car park opens,  we usually arrive on Tuesday night and kip in the car as car parks are usually opened but this year have decided to stay in WV.

8am Wednesday

Hi Ged,
Worthy View will open when gates open on the Wednesday morning around 8am.
Best wishes,

He went to the NME awards, at Brixton Academy, in February 17 in shorts? What a legend.

Is he just doing it to wind people up now, or do you think he’s never worn trousers in his life?

It’s only cold from the car til you get inside, PG.

We should all do Shortsbruary for a worthy cause. I would just about manage if it was done alongside tightsbruary

I doTightsbruary throughout the winter when running. And they’re my wife’s.

Stockingsbruary is where it’s at, I reckon.

RE: WHYDTTGRFG2019 - Started my camping pile in the garage. Found all sorts of stuff I forgot I had including one of those storm shelter thingys.

I had hoped the car park would be open well before the actual gates open. Arriving at 8 on Wednesday means getting caught up in the main site traffic before reaching the WV turn off on the road between Glastonbury and pilton.
