Well after a pretty shit day, I just wanted something on tv to blob in front of and on iPlayer i found this documentary

which is a fascinating documentary in itself but after watching it I feel so much better. The restorative powers of music, it's why we love music so - it just makes everything feel so much better and I've managed to put my day ion to perspective.

I'm listening to the album on spotify and now I just want to see Primal Scream at the farm in June.

All is good again.

I've not been on much. My daughter had to go in for unexpected brain surgery! She is looking okay afterwards, just more added stress!

Thanks all. She has been allowed home tonight - we've just got to monitor her. She has a shunt fitted and it had become blocked. She is doing well, just have a few weeks now to watch out for infection. Thanks again

Morning all

 

@vintagelaureate How recovery is going well

I've just come back from a weekend in Essex for a buddies birthday party and on Saturday morning went tent exploring, wow its a brand new world and a flippin exciting one at that... Its winter and Go outdoors still had 40 or so tents on display - and wow all the goodiesfor camping  as well

I now know more of that I don;t want rather than what i do , but its a start !

Here’s what I am thinking so far , 4 man (for the two of us ) , darkened bedroom but not too dark as the one I saw that was blackout felt claustrophobic, not blow up (too expensive ) , room to stand preferably in bedroom as well... hanging pockets to store stuff in.... ability to have one bedroom rather than the two ... 

happy to take any guidance at all ?
