looks good :) even comes with built in Gazebo :)

Yep, it's got a few options on how you pitch that front flap so you get shade, windbreak, open ventilation etc.  Also got a decent amount of porch space without taking the piss.  That was the biggest issue with my previous one, just a bit of a nightmare to store boots, piss bottle etc without running out of room

Not to derail thread or anything but does anyone know how - if you manage to get tickets for coach sale- you reserve seats for under 13s? Trying for a mate. Do the kids need to register etc then what happens on booking page? I'm sure the answer is deep within these sacred texts but  no idea how to find it.

Cheers

From https://www.glastonburyfestivals.co.uk/information/tickets/ticket-info/#COACHPAY:

– All passengers including children aged 12 and under, and Personal Assistants allocated tickets under the Disabled PA scheme, must purchase a valid coach ticket in order to travel.
– If you are travelling with children aged 12 or under, who do not require an entry ticket for the festival, or a PA allocated tickets by the Disabled Access Coordinator you will need to book the required number of additional seats whilst making their Coach Package booking.
– If the additional seats required are not available when booking, please contact coachtravel@seetickets.com upon completing your booking in order to purchase your additional coach seats (NB: standard fares apply).

Fabulous.  Thank you.

(I was being polite about the derailing bit. It's that random conversation where you know you've had a drink but aren't anywhere near drunk level and are convinced you can fool everyone else you are stone cold sober. )

OK why does autocorrect think I want to type ' stone cold soBerkshire '.

Yep, the sales pics make it look mahoosive. It's still a bit bigger than my previous one, but not excessive for somewhere to live with 5 days worth of kit! Plus it's big enough if me & MrsQ need it for a weekend.

Bro in law couldn't get why I only wanted that size, he's of the "must be able to stand up" mentality

Test run done. Lovely little setup! Plenty big enough without feeling like I'm taking the piss on pitch size!

Is it still up (fnar fnar) - can you take a photo of you on a chair under the porch so we can guage the size- trying to work out if you can sit on a chiar and sit up of if a nomal size person would have to hunch - looks loads smaller than in the original picture but a great size one person for a week (or more)

Afraid I couldn't keep it up that long FF  :P

Yep, I would say it's big enough to sit under in a standard chair.  But I can get a pic once it's up on Thursday (or earlier if I do another test run) and post it so you can see for definite.  You can make the front a bit higher as well; those black support poles are designed to be in the ground but I just angled them back to the base as a test.

How is it possible to want this tent when I already own 5!! It looks fab. I do love my fresh and black pop up tho, it’s so simple to erect and put down, and it’s cool! I’m all packed for my next fest, wish it was Beautiful Days... I just have the mammoth task of putting the 10 man down tomorrow, then the rest of the road trip begins! I’m very excited to visit fest friends and the farm!

Tentporn CG, that's how!  I did debate a pop up but I like to be able to strap it onto the rucksack once it's all bagged up, so prefer the classic pack down and roll up. Got this one down and bagged up in just under 10 mins at first run, about 15 to put up.  Reckon I can get that down if I can get another practice run in before we head to BDs.

All things being well looking forward to sharing a cider with @mr gumby and Michael's Denim Shorts at BDs this weekend!

What's the next stop on your roadtrip?

I’m poppoing in to have a brew with Mr G tomorrow, then on to Pilton to stay with Dee and Digger and go round the farm with splodge and Mrs Splodge, then back up North for Hardwick Live, CIA Bath for lunch with a Bearded Theory mate.

I attatched my pop up to the front of my rucksack with karabiners so I’m hands free. Love a bit of tent porn tho! Whose playing at BD?

Your summer sounds idyllic CG - I am more than a little envious of your fun galavanting to various festivals and friendship groups --- love it :-),

ooo thank you .... I have a vision to do a couple of festivals on my ownsome next year and this looks pretty darn perfect for a little space without being obscene and still being able to sit outside- only thing its missing is a porch for muddle boots- I do love a porch / double entrance

Even with that front door down and fully sealed there's enough space there for muddies.  Not quite a full porch area, but certainly enough space to put them between the inner and outer shells.

EDIT: If you're debating it, Blacks still have a sale on so this is now £65. They've got a 28 day return policy, so if you want to get the deal maybe order it now and leave it bagged up until you see the photos and get my road test review next week?
