That's a point. They could always open up the Pyramid arena for one day. If it was Led Zep, then the tickets would sell out easily and the logistics involved would be massively reduced.

I know traditionally they sell tickets yonks in advance but I don't think they need to. I'm sure they run a decent line of credit. They can do what they want but I can't see a full scale festival happening next year - far too many people would be involved in other projects. Even things like Arcadia are already teasing about plans in their 'year off'

A day festival/stripped back version could be awesome though.

He said this in his Sunday Q&A but it was tongue in cheek from what I can tell. It's gone through the process of removing all context and nuance, adding a load of words around it and making it a story because people will click on it.

Glastonbury 2018 is not happening.
