18:45 Quing has started inside the zigzag. They close searched the bags of the dozen of us in the queue and are now bag searching at the entrance to the zigzag. 

Security assure us that we won't be re-searched at the gate itself, but I'll believe that when I see it.

One guy looked very closely as someone's Bose radio unit. About 25x15x10 cm. The owner has had to take it back to the car!!

ott or what!

 

What the hell is someone taking a Bose radio to Glastonbury for, absolutley daft.

Me and several hundred others, and it's the same at all 4 gates

Have done so every year since they opened car parks on Tuesday evening

Always a great atmosphere 

And it's not standing. Mostly sitting,.chairs or on ground, and lots of drinking

Found my post from the day. Gate D opened at 7:08 last year. Later in the thread someone said gate a opened just before 7

Yeah people from our WhatsApp group got sent over to Gate A.

There's a good system in D though with the snake, means there'll be no funny business with queues merging in a few hours.
