I always thought the same, but it went out the window when they hit their teens

Their parents probably told them to go nuts and do every one under the sun, my parents told me not to.

It was no deterrent.

if i was a parent (which is quite far off being only 17) i think id rather know they were going to do it and make sure they know the stuff like supplements for mdma etc

I was never interested (luckily so as my health means I'd be a complete idiot to try any) but I think seeing the affects it had on friends at school put me off a bit. It turned a mate of mine into a paranoid mess when he was doing far more than he should have been. I know so many people enjoy them but for me just booze and the atmosphere is fine! My parents are also pretty chilled so I never really felt like I had to rebel and take them
