Not sure what to expect this year - headed up there a few times last year and it was pretty dull.  Not sure the weather put bands off getting up that hill but nothing was going on when I was up there

yeah went there last year for the first time and it was quite weird tbh. Nothing was going on, everyone was just sat around drinking. It was really quiet too.

It's an excellent place just to chill out.. not everything has to be full on. I just st about remember waking up leaning on Don Letts     shoulder sat in the sofa, with people or singing along to womak and womak tear drops xx stunning

I walked past and Frank Turner was playing about 4pm one year, that was busy. Had a decent dj on and enough of a crowd for a decent,  but still fairly chilled, atmosphere about 2am. Generally it's quiet most of the time in my experience but we haven't had a scorcher since it moved - would be a good place to catch shade...

Mystery Jets announced in their JP set last year that they were playing up there later that day. So the guests could be of a similar size?

I don't recal seeing any kind of lineup for it in the past though? Or have I got that wrong?

i think i remember seeing the line up scattered on flyers around the festival site. I could be wrong, that could be for another stage or area.

    • The Radio Dept.?! That's a surprise to me, they haven't toured in like 8 years. Hopefully they will announce some more shows.
    • I was assuming September in Stirling might have a different issue tbf in the form of it just pissing it down.
    • Yeah so many of mine seem to be just France v Spain in one semi and England/Brazil v Argentina in the other. But the fact those combos are the obvious ones mean it feels unlikely that'll happen because in World Cup history, you very rarely end up with what pre-tournament looks like the obvious final 4. We all see teams outperform and underperform. Which one is the fall guy is a different matter.   I've said elsewhere that for me, there's a hierarchy of Spain, France and Argentina as the 3 strongest looking, then England and Portugal, then Brazil and Germany, but that overall, they'd be the 7 likeliest to win. So I dunno, maybe this will be the time the Netherlands avenge the failure of total football in 1974 and achieve what they couldn't achieve through whatever the f**k Nigel de Jong was with his 2010 final karate moves.
    • Oh I think Infantino should resign. His handling of the whole WC process has been an utter shitshow. But you know. That would require him having integrity or something.
    • Good Charlotte would be fine third down or subbing. If they can get a bigger sub and still get GC, they’ll play third down.
