Odessa
Had a listen at midnight, had pretty low expectations actually after seeing a couple of people on here slate it. First impressions are that it's very good but not on the level of ...Like Clockwork, which is fine as that's an incredibly high bar. Really liked Feet Don't Fail Me and the two songs that were already out are both great, looking forward to another listen later.
st dan
I find it hard to believe that any QOTSA fans would dislike this album. Admittedly it doesn't blow yours socks off, but it's a very solid album with some very good tracks on there that will only boost their setlists for the live shows. Hugh Jass
It's good, not a par with their best work but nowhere near their worst: Like Clockwork Songs For The Deaf R Villains Lullabies to Paralyse QOTSA Era Vulgaris
The Nal
Villains better than Lullabies?! Leicester winning the league, Trump, Brexit and now this. The world has gone mad.

Wooderson
My copy of Vulgaris has "Fun Machine" in it. It ain't their worst record.
dentalplan
Mine's pretty similar to that as well, but with Like Clockwork promoted to third and I need a bit more time with Villains also.

Lyrically, Vulgaris makes mincemeat of Villains (which I think is a lumpen mess at times).

Tommy101
I think Make It wit Chu is one of their best songs too. One of my favourites of all times as it goes.

Wooderson
Anyone given it a spin on wax yet? Im keen to here Shoes' b-lines on the decent speakers. His work on "Hideaway" for example is a career highlight for the kid.

It's not even near their worst album in my opinion. I find it hard to order them because I usually listen to one appropriate to my current mood, and being so different from one another. I think Like Clockwork is always at the top and self titled at the bottom. To me the self titled album is still more Kyuss than QotSA. st dan
Shocked by the disliking of Lullabies on here. The run of; "Everybody Knows That You're Insane, Tangled Up In Plaid, Burn The Witch, In My Head, Little Sister and I Never Came" is one superb! And the 2nd half of the record is even better than the first. Queens don't make bad records. The Last Great Band.
