paulfoel
Wouldnt qualify for disabled anyway I guess since its not permanent (and too late anyway). Not even sure if we can do anything. She'll probably be on crutches so might be ok to take it easy. Unless theres mud like last year! We've got insurance (if it covers it) but dont really want to cancel... bexj
Ouch! What sort of knee op? I had a partial menisciotomy a couple of years ago, and whilst recovery was quick I'm not sure i would have contemplated Glastonbury so soon after. Can the op be put back until after the festival? slash's hat
I would contact the disabled team, they are really helpful. Might be able to hire a wheelchair/scooter?

Not sure yet - may be just a washout or what you said. Apparently makes a difference. Thing is shes waited AGES for this op.

I guess people who are officially registered have access to charging points.

pie_and_a_pint
After I busted my ankle I hired a wheelchair from Wheel Freedom to help me get about at work (as due to my frankly gross obesity at the time general lack of strength I wasn't able to cover the distances needed on crutches). They were really helpful and quite good value (although obviously I'm not sure what the deal would be with taking a wheelchair onto a farm and potentially getting it muddy / dusty, compared to me bimbling about in an open plan office!) Think i'm due one of them, been struggling for three months after a little skiing issue in March. Had loads of physio, but doesn't seem to be touching it and the other knee has now come out in sympathy. Specialists appointment booked for Tuesday after Glastonbury. At least he will see me at my worst after 5 days of hobbling round the farm and i'll be in that much of a state he can hopefully get things moving.
