How much liquid are you taking?

Likely around 30 snail cans of various craft beers. 

I have a cardboard box which I get a delivery of cans in so I'll try to fit as many as I can in that and the box will double as a doormat/underfloor insulation for the tent.

  2 litres of Bajan  rum, 2 bottles of wine and a bit of amaretto to go in the breakfast espressos 

 

On the train this time so so trying to pack ridiculously light

Yeah this is what I'm gonna do. Heavy drinks in hiking backpack, lighter things like sleeping bag and clothes in Ikea bag in hand. If you have the hip support straps real tight, you carry more weight on your hips, less on your shoulders so less pain.

Just bought a couple of small lunch coolbags, so I will now be taking a modest 8-12 cans of craft beer to supplement my cider bus and avalon/cockmill ale purchases.

1.5l Rhubarb Gin 
24 330ml cans of Heinken
1l vodka
12 cans of coke
15 cans of tonic water
& however much room I have for my home brew IPA

I did this on Friday morning last year and it was quite simple. There's just no way I can carry enough alcohol for 5 days on my person along with all my other gear and I'm flying and gettting a bus can't bring a trolley. Last year all my gear even without any alcohol or water weighed close to 20kg

 

Anyone know where I could aquire boxes of cider similar to those in the above picture in bristol?

Thanks for the up comment. I'm amazed at the amount of put-downs there are (both online and face to face) when you mention you've stopped drinking. I think it threatens some people.... As if I'm challenging or judging them somehow.

spirits decanted into flasks (I buy cola etc on site to mix with) and about 12-15 cans depending how much I can fit in my packs

I haven't bought anything yet but like most years I'd imagine the following.

12 cans of European lager 500ml, 6 Litre

12 cans of cider 500ml, 6 Litre

4 cans of desperados 500ml 2 litre

1 bottle of spiced rum 1 litre

1 bottle of Coke 2 litre

17 litre in total.

I usually complement this with a few cold ones from the bars now and again.

That's it. Anything else and it gets a bit heavy. I'll be buying a few pints on site.

1L of Vodka infused with Blue Raspberry Bons Bons

75cl of Apple Pie infused Bourbon

 

I normally aim for around 30 cans for myself, (6ish a day)

Just let the put downs wash over you. If you are happier not having a drink then really the best thing is to not have a drink. This is your life, not theirs.

750ml of country orchard gin cocktail - which I discovered to be disappointingly weak when I got it home, at only 8%, although I suppose it won't need mixers...and it's tastes absolutely delightful as well  

As many 3L boxes of Wyld Wood cider as I can feasibly carry on the coach. I'm thinking three...

3 x Boxes Wyld Wood Cider - 9 Litres
