Not sure about their other dates but The Breeders are playing Edinburgh a few days before Primavera so must be in for this too.

Tuesday in London, Saturday in France. 99.9% chance for either Thursday or Friday in the Forum.

Superchunk announced Europe dates around Primavera, but playing Tomavistas in Madrid? Dates end at the 2nd June so could play Prima on the 3rd?

Top work. Wouldn't be surprised if we see Jamie XX too, he's playing We Love Green on the same weekend, and although he played last year, that was as a last minute cover for Flaky Frank

A few smaller acts that I would hope to see which could potentially play:

(Sandy) Alex G's last tour date is at the end of May so he could potentially return off the back of Rocket's success.

Montero announced on twitter that he's playing a festival in Barcelona in the summer but didn't specify what one, his new record 'Performer' is out next month. Seen him support Mac Demarco twice last year and he was fantastic live.

Kyle Craft also has a new record out next month and he only has a handful of US dates announced that wrap up in April. Not sure if he's ever played Primavera before but seems like he would be a good fit.

First Aid Kit plays both Coachella and Bonnaroo, so far with nothing in between. They will be travelling the globe earlier in the year, could return to Europe for a.o. PS?

Susanne Sundfør plays in Barcelona in March, but still has an opening in early June. Would like to see her live too, but unfortunately I can't go when she is near me.

Jamie XX is already helping at the merchandise stand and serving beer after, so he is ruled out

Built To Spill has not given any details on title or date for a new record, but Doug Martsch revealed in interviews June 17 that they are working on 12 specific tracks for a new record. However, with their history on promises for new LPs there is no guarantee that the record will materialise in 2018. However, the band is playing some shows this spring and did so before christmas, so they are not in a break or anything. Time will show.

Can't help but feel that the list of acts 'ruled out' is a lot better than the list of acts 'strongly rumoured' but maybe that is just my preference.  I am really hoping we get at least a date for the announcement this week, the past few weeks have been like foreplay and I don't know how much more I can take...
