Spirit burning camping stove - Can I bring one?

Is it possible to bring a small amount of methylated spirits in to the festival for use in a camping stove?

We're flying in from Ireland so can't bring a gas canister. I do have a spirit burning camping stove though...

Don't see why not, they let you build fires for goodness sake :-)

I bring one every year and never had any problems.  Never seen any info they are banned at Glasto.  Other festivals do ban them though...although that's never stopped me

Yeah, I know you can barbecue and build camp fires etc. but given the heightened security, I wasn't sure if bringing a bottle of highly flammable liquid on site might be an issue going through the security search.

Sure I'll give it a whirl!
