I've got an early bird ticket, what time is best to arrive?

I've got a ticket for the thursday, i mainly got it because i hate crowds and having to walk around for ages to find a decent spot to camp. Do you reckon arriving at any time on the thursday guarantees you a fairly decent spot to camp and avoid the queues or do you reckon everyone just goes on the thursday now instead of the friday?

You should find a decent spot if arriving on the Thursday, yes. Earlier the better though. Hopefully you don't hate crowds too much, there will be 30,000 people there this year LOL

It's still busy on a Thursday. We got there at about 3/4pm the year before last and it was crazy busy. Tried to arrive much earlier last year, got there at 9.30/10am and it wasn't too busy and we had our pick of camping spots.

If you plan to get there morning you'll be able to get a great spot no problem

As for Thursday, from what I took they release about half the full capacity in tickets for Thursday so around 14000 then use that as a way to split the traffic in half over the Thursday and Friday to try and help congestion and queuing
