Place to stay on Tuesday night (campervan)

We will be dropping our dog off for her holiday on Monday evening and we need to be on site between 1-8 on Tuesday (oxfam) so we were thinking of setting off from Bradford about 7 and then staying somewhere en route.  Does anyone have suggestions or should we just pull into a layby?

Campervan sites typically want you checked-in earlier than you plan to leave. 

You could "camp" at a motorway services... coffee in the morning etc. Just don't forget to pay for your parking!

[Shepton]

There are a number of public car parks which are free to use after 6pm in Shepton Mallet. The best ones are Great Ostrey and Rectory Road. 

You will then be 10 minutes drive to Pilton for tge morning.

You could try Ashcombe Park, who provide alternate private parking and campervan areas during the festival. You'd need to check that a, they're open and b, if they'll let you do one night only.

theyre positioned by convieniently by the west entrances, so not very convienient for east side.
