PUP and Royal Blood clashing would be horrible, hopefully when the official times come out PUP are somehow before them.

Yeah, I’ve Can’t see how they won’t clash unfortunately

If we get one more act slotting above them then they'd finish just before RB start. Probably won't happen though, PUP are probably in the right slot at the minute.

Pup are touring in November aren't they? Just see Royal Blood and see Pup at their own show with a longer set.

Announced tour dates are how I plan nearly all of my clashes,

There’s going to be about 11 people in the tent watching PUP so I’d definitely go and catch them on their own tour and watch Royal Blood instead.

I can’t help but feel that PUP/their management have cocked up by choosing to play Reading. Imagine the reception they would have got at 2000 Trees compared. Maybe it’s just the pull of playing ‘the’ Reading Festival.

Anyone see VANT being booked?

Could be a potential for a Thursday night band at Leeds maybe. I know they played main in 2017 but they’ve dropped off significantly since

A lot of people speculated that The Streets would play Leeds this year and apparently Mile Skinner said he would be back with them at his DJ set on Relentless too. Parklife were promoting it as 'first festival in 8 years'. Any chance of a last minute announcement similar to N*E*R*D last year? Despite that going down horribly in the end

that would make sense but it’d seem illogical poster wise, anderson paak would lose his font. unless they put the streets at the bottom of that day as special guests and then they just play in that slot

Special guest would make the most sense, you're right. - I imagine it would attract quite a few last minute day ticket sales at Leeds.

Even without special guest, would have given Paak the clout for the majority of the promo before bumping down

Highly doubt anyone's getting added to Saturday main stage, they usually have nine bands per day on main stage and they've already got nine announced for every day bar Friday.

The Streets played 2011 after their last album, have they released anything since then to make it worth bothering to book them?

At what point were official stage times announced last year? Remember it being slightly earlier than usual

They're headlining a stage at Glasto, smashed Parklife, sold out fairly big venues pretty quickly at £50 a ticket, so I'd say they're still pretty in demand due to how hard it is to see them. Also, they're playing in Australia in July, then a festival in Belgium the week before Leeds, one can hope

Frank Iero are touring with Laura Jane Grace in UK in August so must be a good possibility of being added to Reading/ Leeds

I'd say he's a dead cert, the tour starts the day after the festival and LJG is already on the bill.

It’ll be interesting to see who replaces them to headline the stage

History shows that the replacement will be at the bottom of the bill and everyone else will move up a place, especially as the day is sold out anyway.

Yeah, according to the poster, I can see SWRMS taking their place as headlining that stage. Hope they’re feeling alright.

the poster says TBC for the headline slot so i’d imagine it’ll be a direct replacement. Frank Turner anyone?

He's playing a festival in Northampton on the day Blaenavon would have been playing Reading
