thelemon
Does anyone think there could be a chance that Cassia get added? Could be a booking for an early slot somewhere

Jericode
Instalment plans end tomorrow don't they? Imagine we'll get an announcement in the next week or two, unless they wait until after Download for whatever reason.
Dangerbreaks
They've just announced I Don't Know How But They Found Me, Da Baby, Hoodie Allen and The Compozers. Hopefully we'll get a bigger announcement soon.
dentalplan
Does anyone know anything about anyone playing the 1Xtra stage this year? I thought I was doing well at keeping up with hip hop but it’s just random words and letters. Is DaBaby a big thing?

Jericode
Happy with IDKHow but Hoodie Allen's placement probably makes Night Riots and 21P clash which is annoying for me. Saturday has the fewest bands I want to see anyway without them clashing them.

Headie One, Octavian and YBN Nahmir are the only noteable names on there for me, much better rap acts on other stages though such as AJ, Gunna, NAV and Lil Uzi

TKOCF
Bombay just announced a handful of dates, including an Ireland show in the first weekend of August. Surely must be in with a chance for being the Secret Set (yes I know they’re down as an exclusive at Wilderness but when has that stopped certain acts?)

Especially since Tyler, the creator has just announced a US tour around the time of R&L and he was a major contender.
thelemon
If it's a secret set it surely doesn't matter if they're exclusive or not, Wilderness won't be arsed about a secret set as it's unannounced so won't affect their ticket sales. Exclusives are just about selling more tickets at the end of the day.
ob123
How many more names are we expecting in the next announcement? Wondering if anyone else will fit in on the main stage on Friday but doubt it now. Someone like Yonaka, Tom Grennan or Sam Fender would have been nice
Jericode
There's only 30-odd names left probably and it'll largely be bands on the Pit and 1Xtra I suspect. We're still down one on Friday main but I'm expecting it to be a guest opener sort of situation for a slightly bigger name to kick the festival off. jonnyisRFC
Nofx and Less than Jake just got announced for a festival in Devon the weekend before Reading/Leeds. Would be incredible if either of them were a late addition to the R/L line up.

The days of them booking these bands seem a distant memory.

For a 2nd year running it's gone to show there is a market for there to still be a rockier band day.
Dangerbreaks
PUP and Royal Blood clashing would be horrible, hopefully when the official times come out PUP are somehow before them.

I saw Pup on that headline run in April, definitely go and see them over Royal Blood.

Jericode
Pup are touring in November aren't they? Just see Royal Blood and see Pup at their own show with a longer set. Announced tour dates are how I plan nearly all of my clashes,
Andre91
There’s going to be about 11 people in the tent watching PUP so I’d definitely go and catch them on their own tour and watch Royal Blood instead. I can’t help but feel that PUP/their management have cocked up by choosing to play Reading. Imagine the reception they would have got at 2000 Trees compared. Maybe it’s just the pull of playing ‘the’ Reading Festival.
