internetjef
Hello all Apologies this isn't strictly glasto related but i get all my music suggestions from here, and need some help. As part of my job i need to do a fair bit of typing. I am allowed to listen to music but anything with any significant amount of lyrics in it breaks my concentration, or worse i start singing out loud in office or typing the lyrics in by accident ha. Something with a decent bit of speed to it helps to get into the rhythm, but normally i prefer bands as opposed to djs/techno Stuff like Todd Terjes last album has worked a treat but i need to expand. Caribou ok but perhaps a bit slow, Hearing some Public Service Broadcasting on radio (Go/Progress songs) could be a goer. Any tips on some good music i can listen to to destroy the monotony of typing without losing concentration?? If its someone playing Glasto this year then double points ha Help
sloseph
When I worked in an office I found trip hop used to be a pretty good genre to type to, although that can be a little of the slow side for you

Yoghurt on a Stick
Fuck 'em! Listen to what you want to listen to, and feel free to sing out loud - as you effectively, but possibly unknowingly, mistype your resignation on to a letter headed invoice! verrymerry
I second Bonobo, Sleeping At Last have lovely instrumental versions of their songs (which I think I prefer!) and City of the Sun are also good, they sound like they should be a South American or Spanish group, but they're not, good sound though
paulshane
Penguin Cafe Orchestra. not strictly dance, or up beat, but I imagine it would fit in well in an office environment https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Penguin_Cafe_Orchestra
