Kendal camping car park

I have never been to Kendal calling before but going this year just wondering if you are allowed back to your car after entry into the campsite to collect belongings ?

Hi Katie, I can only speak for the Emperors Field. Every year we have been, there has been absolutely no restriction on re entry to the car park after entering the campsite. Hope this helps

We were told in 2014 we couldn't return to the vehicle but in truth I didn't try. Dunno how vigilant they are but would imagine a family get a fairer hearing than a group of lads.

I also think it's grossly unfair if you can't. There's no genuine reason to stop people.

Aye, I remember they announced it and it caused nothing but confusion. Your right, there is no fair reason to stop you heading out. I've done it every year and never had a problem. 

Sure it will be fine this year as well. 

Was the reason not to restrict the amount of booze you could bring in meaning more of our dosh over the bar ?

We have stayed in general camping last 2 years and never had a problem with going back to the car all weekend to pick things up all they do is search whatever bags you are bringing back in with you

I think most people these days do several trips to the car at their leisure rather than be loaded down with everything. It's no real hassle if you time it right and head to the car at a quiet time when you can get back in quickly

Yeah you can go back to your car all weekend, once you have your wristband there's usually a separate lane at the entrance for people doing so

Spot on, the re entry lane is a good plan as it saves you queuing again.

This has came up every year since they announced that there would be some sort of restriction on making several beer runs. In reality, they never enforced it but it caused a bit of a stir. Was 3 or 4 years ago I reckon.

Yeah the beer on first entry only rule was always gonna be a nightmare to enforce, luckily they saw sense and scrapped it
