Mixed results from Accuweather. This changes almost every time I look at it which proves how little you can trust these but it has been going downhill over the last couple of weeks.

Wed 6/21 Considerable cloudiness
Thu 6/22 Mostly cloudy, a little rain
Fri 6/23 Cloudy with a little rain
Sat 6/24 Cloudy
Sun 6/25 Cloudy

The weather gods are fickle!

The biggest drop is by Metcheck, yesterday 27/28 degrees was forecast for the Wednesday, now they are predicting 8! Can't believe anything you see more than a week in advance.

Thats bad news. Weather patterns never last for more than a week. We've peaked a week early.

Sure, theres no floods pre Glasto like last year but we're looking at more rain now when the festival is on.

Very very worrying.

To be honest, this is exactly what I was thinking earlier today, peaked too soon? Next week looks pretty good but in my mind that means a diminished chance of good weather the following week when it really matters.

Two consecutive weeks of good weather is pretty rare? Someone please post some evidence that I'm talking out of my arse, I'd like some hope to cling to! Only been once before in 2015 and I'd take a repeat of that weather all day long!

Fear not, you're talking out of your arse. There is typically a flow of lows from the Atlantic with dry weather between each low - this is where this idea comes from, because a dry (high pressure) period just means that you are inbetween two wet (low pressure) periods.

However, this assumes that the jet stream is directing these over the top of us. What we want is blocking high pressure that send the jet stream north and gives us extended high pressure.

Yep, missed it by a week.

This weekend is perfect Glasto weather, next weekend is perfect Glasto weather and the following week isn't.

Terrible terrible news.

Not to worry, at least we'll have the rain for company in the 12 hour queue to get in ;)
