kalifire
AccuWeather tells me it feels like 35 today. Today is all about shade. Tomorrow it feels like 23. Glorious.

SwedgeAntilles
Too warm today, thankfully we got a decent shaded spot to wait it out, seems to be dropping a bit now.

Lubic
Can't believe I'm saying this but am considering not taking wellies tomorrow after all. I have no walking boots, but I have waterproof walking shoes. Will I be safe? Any mud is not gonna get above ankle height now, surely??

If I was to say no chance of wellies, don't hold me responsible if I'm wrong. But yeah no chance of wellies

Was vital this morning. Edited June 21, 2017 by Woffy

But Sat and Sun are still 2-3 days away, and things change quickly. I would always take wellies regardless of forecast, but you've got a good chance of getting away with it. kingcrawler
As someone who struggles in anything above 20 degrees it was far too warm for me today, especially on the train to Castle Cary which was like being stuck in a conservatory on a hot day. The shade up at the John Peel tent is great though, really cools you down. Hoping for some clouds tomorrow to calm things down but I've already changed my mind on preferring a 2016 style festival to 2010.
WS_Jack_III
I'd have been okay if I'd rememberer my sun cream for the 2 hour queue. Tired now.
fur_q
Last post on the 2017 thread, off in the morning. Tonight's Met Office forecast has 20% chance of rain early hours of Saturday morning, all other times it's 10 or <5, highs of low 20s lows of low teens. DTichborne
I knew that when I failed to get tickets for the first time in 23 years, there'd be no rain. Damn you. I'm off to Barcelona tomorrow, there was no way I was going to stay at home!

Glasto Weatherwatch
Last nights GFS - dry today, dry Friday with perhaps a risk of a shower late evening / overnight, dry Sat with perhaps a light shower in the morning, dry Sunday. Met office has 60% chance of a light shower Sat early hours, otherwise dry. Key word: dry.
henry bear
En route now, bit of drizzle around but nothing much. Forecast suggests getting better later
Zoo Music Girl
Feel like a heathen for saying it but the weather this morning is a blessed relief after yesterday. Overcast and cool in the tent. Can't believe I'm not burnt - can only think it's because of the layer of sweat acting as some kind of barrier! I did reapply a lot of factor 30 but it just slid off. Our coach wasn't air conditioned so it was a sweaty old day. Survived though!

Homer
Carol's 815am update (she was live from Ascot - hat almost blew off). Thurs: dry all day, getting sunnier in the evening (when I arrive). Fri: dry all day Sat: showers temps will drop gradually day by day and she didn't get to Sunday...
