High pressure is in control

We start this week with hot and sunny weather across the south of the UK and temperatures around 30ºC for many. In the north, across Scotland and to a lesser extent Northern Ireland we have cooler air moving in along with a band of cloud and some patchy rain. This cloud and rain will pull away from the UK by Tuesday and then mid-week it will be replaced by showers from the west. We won't all see these showers though and southern parts of England and Wales may remain completely dry all week. By this point temperatures will be dipping into the low-twenties. Ending the week we'll see a weather front approaching from the northwest bringing cloud and rain to Scotland and Northern Ireland. It's slow progress as this front approaches. England and Wales will remain dry and with warm air being pulled in from the continent, temperatures here look set to climb again. As often seems to be the case, as the weekend approaches, so does the rain and most of us will see some unsettled weather by Sunday.
It's worth a mention that for much of this week, both UV and pollen levels are either high or very high.

Some rain still in the GFS 06Z for Tuesday, but at 29 degrees everything will dry up almost instantly.

But surely you must know by now that most weather reports are complete bollocks? It's not as if these reports are meant to be gospel, especially a week or more out from the festival. 

With regards to packing, just pack the basics....

T-Shirts, shorts, 1 pair of jeans, 1 jumper, 1 rain mac, socks, pants and wellies just in case.

Weds, 26-28, now appears to have a small amount of afternoon rain to the north but nothing hitting the site. Even then at these temps it would be gone in minutes.

jeans are one thing I never pack for glasto, when its wet they soak up the water and get heavy, when its not they chafe and when its hot are far to hot.

5 pairs of shorts

5 t-shirts

10 pairs of socks.

1 pair of walking boots. To be left in the car, will go back if it looks like rain.

1 hoody

2 pairs of sunglasses, but always come back with another pair

1 hat, but will buy one at the festival

I'll walk into the site in a pair of trainers, shorts, socks, and a t-shirt

That's my lot

what am I supposed to be looking at here? sunny Wednesday, a bit of cloud on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. maybe a tiny bit of rain on Friday evening.
