can someone tell me whats the deal with the different runs? is it just `the closer it gets to the fest` the more accurate they become? or is there one slot I should really be looking out for?

Lets face it, a bit of rain is absolutely nothing compared to what we endured with the mud last year. The fact we will (probably) be able to spend most of the weekend able to sit on the grass is amazing in itself!

compared to last run rain looks like its more to northwest, (going by comparing 123 on current run and last run) thats a good sign?

Thursday and Sunday look pretty wet to me, with a nasty low to the north on Friday

This model (the us based gfs) runs 4 time a day 00z 06z 12z & 18z (z being UCT Whoch is also GMT) 

other models only run twice a day. 

In Theory the closer you get to the time period you're looking at the more accurate the forecast will become as the models look at what's happening now then predict what will happen in 6 (or 3) hours and then use that first prediction to as the bais for predicting what will happen next so any error in any prediction will be magnified the further away we look from z. This is where the ensembles come as they give us a measure of confidence in what a model run isn't predicting.

its gonna rain thurs night, still nor majorly heavy though and back into nothing/dusting level friday mind you going from where the site is on the map that thurs rain might `just` miss us. it looks just a bit further to the west? anyone want to help me out? 141-150 on the current updating model? thats west of glastonbury yes? only just but still

compare current with previous models that big band of rain def looks further north and west (and less heavy-seeing less green) on the current model yes?

saturday clear, and high pressure lines seem to be moving further north (north from below the uk I mean) then on previous run (thats good im guessing)

SUNDAY DRY AND MONDAY DRY WHOOP! so other then a tiny bit of rain tues night and a small bit of rain thurs night/fri morn we are looking at drysto festival 2017! Also tues-thurs looking hot hot hot with fri-sun just a tiny bit cooler

on this model its goes northeast, doesnt even touch the uk
