Gav says it's taken a turn for the worst and according to Twitter and Facebook, all the weather websites are gradually changing to wetter forecasts.  It's like a disease that's spreading through the network.

All they can be reasonably confident about is that the high pressure will drop eventually and that usually brings rain.  Could still equally be Saturday when it cracks or the Tuesday after.
